Ownly is committed to child safety and maintaining a safe platform for all users. The protection of minors is a non-negotiable priority and we have zero tolerance for any content or behaviour that exploits or endangers children.

Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on Ownly and will result in immediate account termination:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind
• Any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers minors
• Content designed to groom, solicit or manipulate minors
• Any attempt to make inappropriate contact with minors through the platform

Reporting Mechanisms

Users can report inappropriate content directly in the Ownly app:

• Tap the three dots on any post or profile
• Select "Report"
• Choose the appropriate reason including "Child Safety"

All reports are reviewed promptly. Content flagged for child safety concerns is prioritised and reviewed immediately.

Compliance and Reporting

Ownly complies with all applicable child safety laws and cooperates fully with regional and national authorities regarding any reports of child exploitation material.

We report any detected CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant local authorities in accordance with applicable law.

Age Requirements

Ownly requires all users to be at least 13 years of age. Users under 18 may use the platform subject to applicable laws and parental consent requirements in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Moderation

Ownly uses a combination of automated detection systems and human review to identify and remove content that violates our child safety standards. Accounts found to violate these standards are permanently banned and reported to law enforcement where appropriate.
