Ownly Alpha Labs ("Ownly", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Ownly mobile application and the website ownlyalphalabs.com (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you use our Service. Please read it carefully.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, including your name, email address, phone number, username and profile information. We also collect content you post, upload or share through the Service including photos, videos, captions, comments and remixes.

We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service, including your device information, IP address, operating system, app version, usage data and interaction logs such as likes, comments, shares and remix activity.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your Ownly account
• Calculate, track and distribute points and earnings through the Creator Pool and remix royalty chain
• Detect and prevent fraud, spam and abuse through our quality score and anti-fraud systems
• Process withdrawals and facilitate UPI payments
• Send you notifications about your account, earnings and app activity
• Improve and personalise your experience on the Service
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Points, Earnings and Financial Data

Ownly operates a points-based reward system where engagement actions earn points redeemable for real money. We maintain records of all points transactions, Creator Pool deposits, remix royalty distributions and withdrawal history. This financial data is stored securely and used solely to operate the reward system and comply with applicable regulations.

KYC (Know Your Customer) verification may be required for withdrawals above Rs. 10,000 in accordance with applicable Indian regulations.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the platform (including Supabase for database and authentication, and Razorpay for payment processing)
• Other users to the extent necessary to operate social features such as public profiles, posts, follower counts and remix chains
• Law enforcement or government authorities when required by law

5. Data You Own

You own your content on Ownly. You can delete your posts at any time. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at privacy@ownlyalphalabs.com. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for fraud prevention.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission, secure authentication and row-level security policies on our database. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data including the right to access, correct, delete or port your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@ownlyalphalabs.com.
